“The therapist’s task is to provide a setting in which the patient can feel real.” - D.W. Winnicott
Welcome, I’m Danielle.
I’m a psychotherapist and trauma-focused yoga teacher specializing in healing trauma and helping emerging and young adults navigate adulthood.
My work is grounded in a relational psychodynamic approach, offering a warm, attentive environment in which your experiences, feelings, and questions are explored. With an emphasis on building a trusting therapeutic relationship, we explore patterns shaped by past experiences and relationships and make room for greater authenticity, self-understanding, and emotional freedom.
I don’t see therapy as a way to fix or judge, but as a way to learn to approach ourselves with curiosity, and maybe even a little humor, whether this is through talk therapy, trauma-focused yoga, or a combination of the two. I am available for sessions in-person and online in Chicago and online in New York City.
If anything you see here resonates with you, I invite you to reach out to schedule a call or a session to see if we’d be a good fit.
